Responsibilities:

OUTREACH & SOCIAL CONCERNS

    Administration

  • Assist to review current needs, resources, and challenges with Outreach & Social Concerns committee
  • Coordinate the Small Group network and volunteers for community outreach
  • Maintain liaison with the local church, its members, and established social concerns agencies within the community
  • Maintain proper system for Outreach & Social Concerns ministry reports and correspondences
  • Coordinate with FaithActs on administration work for monthly financial relief fund
  • To attend Ministry meetings on bimonthly basis, and budget meeting
    Adopt-A-Block (AAB) Outreach

  • Identify new outreach opportunities and partner with Ministry Overseers to connect Small Groups to the families in need
  • Responsible for marketing, sourcing of gifts, and communicating with Small Groups
  • Establish and maintain a system to gather feedback and updates from Small Groups in their outreach to the residents of the adopted block(s)
  • Brief new volunteers on the purpose and outreach strategy of AAB
    Other Activities

  • Coordinate other outreach activities involving ministries such as Turning Point, Schools Outreach, God-Of-Love-Delivery, and Adopt-A-Family
  • To assist and support in arranging for medical service partners, and coordinate other outreach activities in and outside church premises

MISSIONS

  • Assist in managing the overall support, engagement, and care of Mission Workers, and make visits to locations where Mission Workers are based
  • Plan, coordinate, and provide support for Missions-related programs and trips
  • Assist in the mobilization of Small Groups and church members to fulfil their roles in the church’s missions endeavours
  • Plan, coordinate, and provide support for training modules on missions awareness and missions members care for church members

OTHERS

  • Assist in pastoral care ministries as directed, which may include homebound visits, home/office blessings/cleansings, hospitalization visits, bereavement help in wakes or funerals etc
  • Perform other assigned corporate duties

Requirements:

  • Called to serve in the Outreach & Social Concerns and Missions ministries
  • General Diploma or Degree
  • At least 2-3 years’ relevant experience
  • Good organizational and administrative skills
  • A pastoral heart, teachable, good teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to work on weekends

Responsibilities:

    Ministry Focus – Worship

  • Assist in planning and preparing run sheets and orders of worship for all worship services and special events
  • Work with Pastors (under the supervision of the Pastoral Team Member) to implement plans for all types of services (Sunday Worship Services, Special Services, and Corporate Services)
  • Ensure all media slides and videos from worship leaders, Pastors, and communications department are properly collated and uploaded for all services
  • Coordinate the worship teams, sound crew, projectionists, and ushers who serve at worship events held at Faith (eg. W&M Worship Night, worship teachings, CHOP)
  • Continually learn about people in the congregation and keep abreast on music methods, literature, and materials available to plan music approaches that meet the congregation’s needs
    Budget & Inventory

  • Plan and manage annual ministry budget
  • Coordinate the purchase, maintenance, and replacement of music related equipment, supplies, and instruments; maintain music library of original scores, and conduct annual stock take of music library
    Administration

  • Coordinate with Operations team on logistics and technical support needed to ensure smooth execution of all types of services
  • Collate and compile worship songs selected by Worship Team for services and prepare slide presentations
  • Assist in the recruitment and work with volunteers for W&M Ministry teams (worship teams, choirs, singers, musicians, sound crew, projectionists) for different services
  • Prepare claims for W&M materials, supplies, and fixed asset purchases, and keep inventory record
  • Book rooms and make reservations for venue and catering needs
    Others

  • Assist in pastoral care as directed, which may include homebound visits, home/office blessings/cleansings, hospitalization visits, bereavement help in wakes or funerals etc
  • Perform assigned duties and oversee a well-coordinated Sunday Order Of Service and smooth flow of logistics and technical support

Requirements:

  • Called to serve in the Worship & Music Ministry
  • Diploma in Church Music and/or ABRSM/Trinity Grade 8 (theory/practical) would be advantageous
  • Preferably able to play a musical instrument i.e. keyboard, piano, or guitar
  • At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in serving in a church
  • Good organisational administrative skills
  • Has a pastoral heart, teachable spirit, good teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to work during weekends

Commitment: 3-6 months
Age range: Youths and Young Adults from Faith Methodist Church (17-25 years old)

Responsibilities:

Social Media

  • Build social media presence on new church Instagram account
  • Social media content strategy and planning
  • Make regular posts on various publicity platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram

Media Production

  • Media coverage of church events, i.e. photography & videography
  • Multi-cam crew for scheduled Services (training provided!)
  • Photo & video editing
  • Content creation for video production projects

Other Responsibilities

  • Go on pastoral visitations where needed with pastors/pastoral team as assigned by Youth Pastor, Ps Anthony Phua
  • Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • The position requires the candidate to possess some working knowledge of each area of expertise, be it social media or media production (e.g. how to handle a camera)
  • A Good Attitude: Patient and willing to learn new things
  • Team Worker: Able to work well with others in order to achieve group goals
  • Creative and independent
