In the early stage of spiritual maturity, infant Christians tend to lack knowledge about what Jesus taught. They may have also gotten mixed up with the philosophy of the world, combining it with Scripture in a hybrid that works for them or at least this point they think is working for them. Like the actual infants, they need a lot of care from parents. They need a spiritual parent to mentor, encourage and care for them.
If you have a strong desire to help others grow in their faith, why not consider volunteering with us as a nurturer? There is the excitement that comes with seeing a child grow up in early discipleship!
We are looking for nurturers who have the criteria: Mature Christian, passionate to teach God’s words, a church member, and a life group member.
Come and be equipped in the upcoming seminar “Why disciple others matter?” The equipping will be followed by 5 sessions to run through the Growing in Christ course on-site (weekly Monday from 25 September to 23 October, 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm).
Date: 23 September 2023 (Saturday)
Time: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
Venue: Koinonia room 1-3 (L4)
