“Do not be anxious” (Matthew 6:25). What fills our minds and weighs on our hearts, in the hustle and bustle of daily life? What do the questions that hold our attention and frame how we see, reveal?
In this season of Ordinary Time, God invites us to retreat and consider how He takes care of what He makes, giving beauty to everything as it grows simply and fully in its appointed place and season.
Come aside, to gaze upon God and notice His gaze. Come and savour His eternally loving design, displayed in the present moment. Come and rest in Him in Ordinary Time, through ordinary things.
About the facilitator:
A visual scribe by trade and habit, Wendy Wong witnesses and offers encouragement to individuals, teams and communities by depicting their stories and growth. By listening with love and mirroring with honesty, Wendy enables others to remember experiences faithfully, befriend realities compassionately, and discover futures with hope. As a longtime Lupus patient, amateur home cook, ikebana enthusiast and paper collage hobbyist, she believes that both ordinary times and extraordinary circumstances offer us meaning and beauty. Wendy loves noticing how God shows up where we least expect Him; how He is not too big to care for small details; and how He is not in a hurry and yet never late.
