Organized by Faith’s FaithCARE Ministry
Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress. It can help a person be better prepared in dealing with a tense situation. But when anxiety becomes overwhelming and interferes with your daily activities, it becomes a problem. Join our upcoming FaithCARE Talk with guest speaker Miss Athel Hu Jiamin as she helps us go deeper to understand what anxiety is and how it is more than just normal fear and stress. She will also explore why people experience anxiety and how we can cope with it, providing an existential perspective that deals with meaning and existential issues of life.
Guest Speaker Profile
Jiamin is a trained counsellor and the Founder of Mentidote, a social enterprise focusing on mental health education. She is also currently an educator with the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
