Biblical Israel (Part I): Exodus to Joshua

D&N is conducting a series of Bible Courses designed to complement our understanding of the TbtW reading plan.

Synopsis:

This course will look at key historical events from the Old Testament from Exodus to Joshua, Kings and Chronicles. We will see how and why God chose a people for Himself, gave them a Promised Land and established a system of worship. We will also see how the people responded to God’s grace and how they rejected it. This series will be covered in two parts.

 Part 1 will cover the books from Exodus to Joshua, and are scheduled as follows:

31 Jan – Out of Egypt

7 Feb – Sacrifice

21 Feb – Conquering the Land

Biodata of speaker

Rev Chiang Ming Shun has been a Methodist pastor for 22 years and is currently attached to Ang Mo Kio Methodist Church. However, his full-time appointment since 2015 is as a Lecturer at Trinity Theological College, where he is now also the Associate Dean. Ming Shun is a Church Historian, and earned a PhD at the University of Cambridge. He has been happily married to Po Lin, who taught at ACJC for 2 decades.
